About Us

The Willamette Valley Men's Baseball League is a Salem, Oregon based baseball league comprised of the Oregon Men's Senior Baseball League and the Mid-Willamette Valley Men's Adult Baseball League. The Oregon MSBL was founded in 1988 by Joe Johnson. The Mid-Willamette Valley Men's Adult Baseball League was founded in 2004. The WVMBL is chartered by Men’s Senior Baseball League (MSBL)/Men’s Adult Baseball League (MABL). The MSBL/MABL is a national organization with 325 local affiliates, 3,200 teams and 45,000 members who play organized amateur baseball in local leagues, 30 regional tournaments and six national tournaments. The MSBL/MABL World Series and Fall Classic take place every October/November in Arizona and Florida, respectively, playing on almost exclusively MLB Spring Training fields.  The WVMBL is committed to providing baseball for all.

The leagues' players are primarily men, however, women are not excluded from membership.

The WVMBL uses only wooden bats for league play. The WVMBL season begins in June and completes in late summer.

Players and teams are from across the Willamette Valley and surrounding geographies including: Salem, Albany, Corvallis, McMinnville, Silverton, Newport, Scio, and Monmouth.
