WVMBL 2020 Season Update
June 11 Update
Your spring training has been extended. Governor Brown has placed a pause on Marion County Phase 2 reopening. As a result, the 2020 WVMBL season will be delayed another week. Sunday’s coaches meeting and new player workout have been postponed and will be rescheduled.
The WVMBL Board of Directors has worked extremely hard to get this season going, however, games will not be permitted until Marion County is granted phase 2 reopening. Stay loose.
June 7 Update
The WVMBL continues to prepare for the 2020 season with Marion County phase 2 reopening pending. The 30+ and 40+ divisions are set with 4 and 6 teams respectively. The new 16+ high school division is full and will consist of 6 teams. New registrants for the 16+ division will be placed on a waiting list and contacted if roster space becomes available. Teams are still forming for the 18+ division and plans for a new player workout are being developed. The 18+ new player workout is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 14th at Holland Park.
It is hoped that the 2020 season will get underway June 15th.
